The Madeleine PA will be hosting a free parent Live Scan event at the Fall Festival on Oct 24.

If you are interested in becoming an approved school volunteer and have not yet live scanned for the Oakland Diocese, signups are on Track It Forward.

Prior to your scan appointment please follow these steps:

STEP ONE: Complete Virtus training: https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/  

If creating a new account for the first time please search for the Oakland Diocese then School of the Madeleine (not, St. Mary Magdalen). If this is your first training, you will complete two modules: 1) Protecting God’s Children Online (a one-time training) and 2) Safe Environment with Mandated Reporter Training, State of California (required yearly).

STEP TWO: TB Clearance.

Submit proof of a negative TB test or provide a TB Risk Assessment Screening no older than 12 months (to be updated every four years). Our Health Chair Shamideh Engel may be able to assist with the completion of a TB Risk Assessment, please use the attached link to begin the process: https://forms.gle/ZeuKF4nMJ8uEPbk46. Once complete Ms. Engel will reach out if further testing is required.

STEP THREE: Process a Volunteer Live Scan for the Oakland Diocese/School of the Madeleine.

Prior to arriving for your Live Scan appointment, please complete the APPLICANT INFORMATION section of the Live Scan form attached in Track It Forward and bring it with you on the day of your appointment. Additionally, please bring in a valid Driver’s License, Passport or CA id with photo. Time slots are scheduled in 3 minute increments; please be a few minutes early in order to check in by the front office.

Note, if you have an active Virtus account and have previously Live Scanned for the Oakland Diocese, it is not necessary to scan again. However, if you left and are a returning family, you may need to rescan.
